Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for ~350 weekly employees
• Lead, mentor, and support 2 in the payroll team
• Lead two critical initiatives - Pay Day Super implementation and T&A (Time & Attendance) system integration
• Ensure accurate processing of wages, PAYG, tax, and superannuation
• Interpret awards, overtime rules, and allowances, including manual calculations where required
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across payroll operations
• Lead two initiatives - Pay Day Super implementation and T&A system integration

Key Requirements

• Proven end-to-end payroll experience, ideally in a high-volume weekly payroll environment
• Experience with MicrOpay essential
• Strong understanding of awards, overtime, and allowances
• Prior leadership experience preferred, or demonstrated ability to step up into a leadership role
• Strong interest in process improvement and system enhancement
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Hands-on approach with willingness to support all aspects of payroll
