We are currently seeking a motivated, detail oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our collaborative Finance Team at our newly renovated Head Office. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, this role offers long term stability and excellent paths for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage a mix of core routine tasks and rewarding, challenging responsibilities, including:

  • Invoice & PO Management: Efficiently entering accounts payable invoices and raising purchase orders.
  • Reconciliations: Processing and reconciling vendor invoices and statements.
  • Payment Processing: Executing regular payment runs via EFT and cheque.
  • Expense Analysis: Managing the payment and analysis of non stock corporate expenses (e.g., rent, utilities, waste management, and fleet registrations).
  • Month-End Support: Actively participating in essential end of month financial processes.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external account enquiries.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated background in Accounts Payable, ideally within a commercial environment.
  • Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to confidently present information and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Tech Savviness: Strong computer literacy, particularly across the MS Office Suite (Excel).
  • Precision & Drive: A sharp eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Adaptability: A positive attitude and the agility to handle both routine tasks and complex challenges with equal enthusiasm.
