About the role
Are you passionate about learning design, capability development and driving meaningful organisational change? This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of innovative finance capability strategies that empower school leaders and staff across NSW.
As the Finance Capability Strategy Specialist, you will provide expert advice and leadership in the design, development and delivery of finance capability uplift strategies and training programs. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to identify capability needs and develop contemporary learning solutions that strengthen financial management practices across schools.

About you
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative professional with experience in capability development, learning design and stakeholder engagement.
You will have:
Experience designing and delivering capability uplift strategies and learning programs.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
The ability to identify capability needs and develop targeted, innovative learning solutions.
Experience evaluating learning outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
Key knowledge and experience
Demonstrated experience in providing expert advice relating to training and capability uplift strategy.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
