Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?
As a valued part of the APAC Payroll team, your role will be to ensure on time and accurate payment of salaries, rewards, allowances, reimbursements and deductions for all employees within the APAC region. This role will be based at our Macquarie Park office and reports directly to the Payroll Manager. Full systems training will be provided.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Coordinate and process weekly and monthly payrolls in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, India and Singapore
Collaborate with HR teams across the region to gather payroll requirements
Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy across manual and automated workflows.
Ensure accurate interpretation and application of awards, agreements and workplace regulations to support compliant payroll processing
Manage the processing, reconciliation and remittance of tax and various deductions
Resolve any payroll queries or discrepancies in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Experience in a payroll position, ideally within a large multi-national organisation
Experience using payroll software such as ADP, Chris21, or similar
Demonstrated experience interpreting awards and agreements for payroll application
Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
Demonstrated experience of creating innovative solutions for administrative problems
A willingness to learn and an appetite for growth
