Lion Education Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based early childhood education and care provider. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to develop and implement marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand presence, support enrolment growth, improve family engagement and promote our early childhood education services to local families and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify local family needs, enrolment trends, competitor activity and opportunities for service growth.

  • Advise on marketing strategies, service positioning, pricing communication, promotional activities and advertising channels for the centre’s early childhood education services.

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the centre’s programs, facilities, curriculum approach and enrolment opportunities.

  • Plan and coordinate digital and traditional marketing activities, including website content, social media, online advertising, brochures, newsletters and local community promotions.

  • Prepare marketing content that communicates the centre’s educational philosophy, learning programs, child development focus and family support services.

  • Analyse campaign performance, enquiry sources, enrolment conversion data and family engagement metrics to support marketing decisions.

  • Coordinate open days, centre tours, information sessions and local promotional events to increase brand awareness and prospective family engagement.

  • Liaise with centre management, educators and external service providers to ensure marketing materials are accurate, professional and consistent with the centre’s values and regulatory expectations.

  • Support the development of relationships with local families, community organisations, schools, referral partners and other stakeholders.

  • Monitor and maintain the centre’s online presence, search visibility and online reputation.

  • Prepare marketing reports and recommendations to support business planning, enrolment strategy and service growth.

  • Ensure all marketing communications are professional, accurate and appropriate for an early childhood education and care setting.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience.

  • Experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, digital marketing, social media management and market research.

  • Ability to analyse market trends, customer behaviour, campaign performance and enquiry/enrolment data.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and professional marketing content.

  • Experience in education, childcare, community services, health, family services or another service-based industry will be highly regarded.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple campaigns, events and stakeholder communications.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, website content management systems, social media advertising and analytics tools.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with centre management, educators, families and external marketing or design providers.

  • Understanding of appropriate marketing communication in a child-focused, family-oriented and regulated service environment.

  • Multilingual language ability will be considered an advantage.
