Assistant Management Accountant
A well-established, global business based in North Ryde is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temp-to-permanent basis. This is a broad, hands-on role offering genuine exposure across financial reporting and analysis within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

The Role
Reporting into experienced finance professionals, you will take ownership of key processes from day one while contributing to a range of reporting, reconciliation, and analysis activities across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Preparing and distributing financial reports to internal stakeholders
  • Conducting inventory analysis and investigating stock variances with operational teams
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies across multiple ERP systems
  • Liaising with operational staff and acting as a key finance contact for business queries
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the wider finance team
About You
  • Experience in an accounting or finance role, whether in industry or practice
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills — essential for this position
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical with a high level of attention to detail
  • Working towards or holding a CPA/CA qualification
