The Opportunity
You will manage a portfolio of business and professional clients, delivering a mix of compliance and high-value advisory services including:
Prepare and present Tax planning and structuring advice
Business advisory focused on improving client profitability and outcomes
Conducting technical tax research to support strategic advice
Client relationship management and tailored solution delivery
Assisting clients with growth, operational improvement and financial decisions
Deliver end-to-end accounting and business services, including preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's processes and procedures
Mentoring and collaborating with staff members including peer reviews
About You
You are a client-focused Chartered Accountant (or near-qualified CA) who enjoys building relationships and delivering value beyond compliance.
You will demonstrate:
CA qualification
5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
Strong technical skills in taxation and business services
Proven ability managing a client portfolio end-to-end
A genuine interest in advisory and business improvement
Strong communication skills and commercial thinking
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
Experience with Sage Handisoft (preferred but not essential)
Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
