About the Role
North Sydney | Hybrid (3 days WFH, 2 days office)
We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to deliver high-quality technical support across our APAC region. You’ll act as the primary IT contact, supporting end users, managing hardware, and working closely with global IT teams.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-person and remote IT support to users across the APAC region
Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets efficiently
Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
Build, deploy, and decommission laptops and hardware
Support onboarding and offboarding processes in line with Human Resources
Maintain accurate ticketing and documentation
Manage APAC hardware inventory and asset tracking
Support printers, AV/VC systems, mobile devices, and third-party software
Coordinate with global teams (IAM, Security, Engineering, Human Resources)
Maintain IT policies (hardware, software, security, antivirus)
Manage IT procurement, vendors, and budgets
Maintain knowledge base articles and IT documentation
Communicate outages and IT updates across the business
Support regional IT projects and leadership initiatives
Travel
Occasional travel across APAC and internationally
Trips may require stays of up to 10 days
About You
Essential Experience & Skills:
2–3+ years in IT support or system administration
Strong Windows troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting hardware, printers, and AV/VC systems
Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and across global teams
Experience with IT asset management and vendor coordination
Nice to Have:
ITIL knowledge or certification
Experience in enterprise or multinational environments
Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint proficiency
Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
Cybersecurity awareness and policy compliance knowledge
Experience with IT procurement, budgets, and vendor negotiation
Project coordination experience (regional rollouts/upgrades)
Technical documentation and knowledge base writing skills
Requirements
Valid passport with ability to travel internationally across APAC, US, UK, and EU regions with minimal visa restrictions
Must have unrestricted work rights for Australia
