Your role, your impact In this role, you’ll partner with families and caregivers to support children with developmental delay or disability to grow, learn and thrive. Your work creates lasting impact by strengthening the skills and confidence of those who support each child every day. Deliver supports: Provide strengths-based early childhood supports tailored to each child and familyPartner with families: Set goals and plan supports based on what matters most to themAssess development: Identify support needs using observations and evidence-based toolsBuild capability: Strengthen the skills of families, carers and educators in everyday routinesSupport inclusion: Enable participation in community and mainstream environmentsPlan interventions: Design and deliver individual and group-based supportsMaintain records: Ensure accurate documentation and compliance requirements are metSupport NDIS access: Assist families to navigate and implement NDIS plans where relevantCollaborate with others: Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes Who We’re Looking For Experience supporting children: Background in early childhood, disability or community settingsStrong communication skills: Ability to build respectful and trusting relationshipsCollaborative approach: Confidence working within multidisciplinary teamsIntervention planning skills: Ability to tailor supports to individual needsOrganisation and time management: Ability to prioritise and manage competing demandsFlexible working capability: Confidence working across home, community and virtual settingsKnowledge of development: Understanding of child development and family-centred practiceRelevant qualifications: Qualification in early childhood, education, Social Work, or allied health (e.g. speech pathology, occupational therapy)Professional registration: Allied health registration where applicableDriver’s licence: Valid Australian driver’s licence with willingness to undertake outreach What Will Make You Stand Out NDIS experience: Experience working within early childhood intervention or the NDISGroup facilitation: Experience delivering parent programs, playgroups or group supportsSector knowledge: Understanding of the not-for-profit or community services sector What’s In It For You At Each you’ll be supported to be your best.
