Fourier is a growing Australian technology services business that supports customers across managed services, professional services, communications and cyber security. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Service Administration Officer to join our team in Chatswood. This is an office-based role in Chatswood, working a roster of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and supporting the day-to-day coordination and administration of our service delivery function. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys speaking with customers, keeps things on track, and takes pride in making sure the behind-the-scenes detail is accurate, timely and well managed. You will work closely with service delivery staff and internal teams to help ensure tickets, schedules, communication and administrative processes are handled efficiently and to a high standard. 

About the role 

As the Service Administration Officer, you will play an important part in supporting the smooth operation of the service team. You will help coordinate work schedules, maintain accurate information across systems, follow up outstanding items, and support the administrative processes that enable strong customer outcomes and contract compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidence working with systems and processes, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and internal stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative support to the service delivery team, including ticket, scheduling and workflow coordination 

  • Manage incoming customer calls promptly and professionally 

  • Monitor service queues and assist with keeping work progressing in line with priorities and agreed timeframes 

  • Review and maintain accurate job, ticket and customer information across internal systems 

  • Assist with customer communication, follow-ups and general service administration tasks 

  • Coordinate travel arrangements as required 

  • Support timesheet, time entry and administrative data quality processes to help ensure accuracy and continuity 

  • Liaise with internal teams to help ensure service activities are documented, tracked and completed appropriately 

  • Help identify and resolve administrative issues before they affect service delivery  

  • Contribute to a well-organised, responsive and customer-focused service environment 

What success looks like in this role 

  • Service administration tasks are completed accurately, consistently and on time 

  • Tickets, notes, schedules and related records are well maintained and up to date 

  • Follow-ups are not missed, and outstanding items are progressed proactively 

  • Internal teams can rely on strong administrative support to keep work moving 

  • Customers experience timely, professional and well-coordinated communication 

  • Administrative errors are minimised, contributing to smoother invoicing and stronger operational outcomes 

About you 

  • You have previous experience in service administration, service coordination, customer service administration, or a similar operational support role 

  • You are highly organised, dependable and confident managing multiple tasks at once 

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, approachable manner 

  • You have excellent attention to detail and enjoy keeping systems and records accurate 

  • You are comfortable using business systems and learning structured processes 

  • You take initiative, follow through on commitments, and work well as part of a team 

  • Experience supporting a technical, managed services or service delivery team will be highly regarded
