The Administration & Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the financial, administrative, and operational functions of this waste management and resource recovery based business.
This role manages accounts receivable and payable processes, customer invoicing, contract administration, transport and disposal documentation and provides administrative support to ensure the efficient delivery of waste collection, recycling, resource recovery and logistics services.
The position works closely with the operations team, customers, suppliers, transport contractors and regulatory bodies to maintain accurate records, support compliance requirements and ensure effective financial management across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing and debtor collections.
Process waste disposal, recycling, transport and service-related transactions.
Maintain accurate customer, supplier and contract records.
Support payroll administration and financial reporting activities.
Coordinate administrative requirements for fleet, plant and equipment records.
Prepare and maintain waste tracking, resource recovery and compliance documentation.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, transport contractors and regulatory agencies.
Assist with month-end reconciliations, reporting and budgeting processes.
Provide general office administration and operational support to management and the operations team.
Ensure documentation complies with relevant environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or finance administration role.
Proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume Accounts Receivable environment.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
