About Us

We are a well-established and growing electrical contracting business delivering residential, commercial and maintenance services across a diverse range of projects. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration of our business and support our operational team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the daily functions of the office, ensuring smooth business operations, and providing administrative support to management, project teams, and field staff.

The successful candidate will have previous experience using Simpro and a strong background in office administration within the trades, construction, or electrical industry.

Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens with full working rights in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily operation and management of the office.

  • Administration and maintenance of Simpro software.

  • Raising and processing work orders, purchase orders, and invoices.

  • Scheduling and coordinating technicians and subcontractors.

  • Managing customer enquiries and service requests.

  • Following up outstanding quotations, invoices, and customer documentation.

  • Accounts administration including debtor and creditor support.

  • Managing timesheets, leave records, and general staff administration.

  • Maintaining company records, compliance documents, and certifications.

  • Assisting with project administration and reporting.

  • Liaising with suppliers, clients, and contractors.

  • General reception and office duties as required.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Administration Manager, or Senior Administrator role.

  • Minimum 5 years of office management experience required.

  • Strong working knowledge of Simpro software (essential).

  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on Simpro software experience required.

  • Experience within the electrical, construction, trades, or service industry (preferred).

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
