About the opportunity
The Administrative Officer plays a vital role in coordinating and managing the general administration within the Specialist Administrative Support (SAS) Unit. The role entails the application of knowledge and expertise to implement business process improvements and to ensure operations comply with University policies and procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional to contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic academic environment. You will play a central role in coordinating complex administrative processes, supporting key operational activities such as timetabling and casual academic engagement, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple disciplines. With a strong focus on compliance and continuous improvement, you’ll bring your expertise to enhance systems, streamline workflows, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Your ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and influence outcomes will be key to your success in this impactful role. This position reports to the Manager of the SAS unit.
