What you’ll do

The role is pivotal in driving the Woolworths Group marketing efforts by translating strategy into action. You will be responsible for orchestrating holistic, best-in-class media and channel plans across both paid and owned media, ensuring campaigns are executed to strategy effectively and continually optimised for performance.

  • Collaboration with internal and external agencies that serve as a single source of truth for all stakeholders across paid and owned media.

  • Drive continual improvement by conducting ongoing assessment of media and channel outcomes and performance.

  • Provide initial media planning perspective for marketing briefs and deliver reactive and tactical media planning when required.

  • Manage accountability for paid media budgets, including billing and financial reconciliation, while also understanding owned media value.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a proactive, pragmatic self-starter who is highly organised, collaborative, and can simplify complex ideas for stakeholders while maintaining resilience.

  • Proven experience with media OR a strong foundational understanding of the requirements and operations of a large Marcomms department

  • Ability and confidence to collaborate cross-functionally across internal teams and external partners.

  • Strategic communication skills, able to simplify complex media metrics and strategies for non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency with finance processes (media billing, reconciling, and forecasting).

What you’ll experience

We embrace diversity of thought and love to take on challenges with a pragmatic and innovative approach. Our culture thrives on mutual respect, care, curiosity, openness, and a proactive attitude. We continually seek ways to pair, collaborate, support, and learn from each other as a team!

  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network

  • Commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams

  • A progressive and competitive leave policy that gives you more space for what matters to you, including but not limited to Study Leave and Sports Representation Leave

  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work
