Description

• Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and both Australian and global tax obligations, with strong knowledge of local tax frameworks and international considerations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
• Lead and mentor a team within the Accounting & Finance department overseas.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to optimise financial performance and ensure alignment across regions.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and global reporting standards.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
• Proven experience in financial management within the life science/healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
