Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Financial Analyst to join one of Australia's most recognised Property & Infrastructure organisations during a period of significant investment and transformation.
  
With a substantial capital investment program currently underway, this business is delivering major projects that will shape the future of transport and property precincts.
  
As Senior Financial Analyst you will operate as a true business partner, supporting senior stakeholders across a diverse property portfolio and providing the financial insights required to drive strategic decision-making.
  
Key Responsibilities
  
  • Partner closely with operational and commercial leaders to deliver financial analysis and business performance insights.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities for the Property portfolio.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs, variance analysis and executive-level commentary.
  • Evaluate business performance, identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support investment decisions through the preparation of financial models, business cases and approval papers.
  • Assist with contract renewals, tender evaluations and commercial assessments.
  • Contribute to capital expenditure planning, risk and opportunity analysis and portfolio performance reviews.
  • Drive reporting enhancements, process improvements and data visualisation initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team.
  
About You
  
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualified
  • Prior experience in FP&A, commercial finance or financial analysis within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful commercial insights.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel skills with exposure to Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools.
  • Property, infrastructure, real estate or asset-intensive industry experience will be highly regarded.
