Finance Coordinator

Pay: $55dph + Super
Location: Inner Southern Sydney
Contract Type: Full-time Locum - initially 6 weeks with potential to go permanent.

The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Coordinator to join a busy Corporate Services team. This role supports end-to-end finance operations including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, reporting support and general financial administration.

This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple finance functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Complete reconciliations across bank, credit card and general accounts
  • Support month-end reporting, budgets and grant acquittals
  • Assist with journals, reporting and year-end processes
  • Maintain accuracy of financial data within Xero
  • Respond to internal finance queries and provide support to staff
  • Assist with audit preparation and compliance tasks
About You
  • Experience in finance administration, bookkeeping or accounts coordination
  • Experience working in a not for profit or grant-funded organisation
  • Strong AP/AR and reconciliation experience
  • Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder support skills
