About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Senior Compliance Manager to join a dynamic financial services environment. This role sits within a fast-paced and evolving business, requiring a confident professional who can operate independently and bring clarity to complex regulatory and compliance challenges.

You will play a key role in supporting the business across funds management, credit/lending, or banking operations, ensuring robust compliance frameworks are maintained while enabling commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert compliance advice across business units, with a focus on funds management, credit/lending, or banking activities
  • Interpret and apply relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Assess complex compliance issues and provide clear, practical recommendations
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to remediation activities where required
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to balance regulatory obligations with commercial objectives
  • Monitor regulatory change and assess business impact
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior leadership and governance committees

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant experience in compliance within funds management, credit/lending, or banking
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
  • Excellent critical thinking and sound commercial judgement
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to compliance challenges
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
