About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Senior Compliance Manager to join a dynamic financial services environment. This role sits within a fast-paced and evolving business, requiring a confident professional who can operate independently and bring clarity to complex regulatory and compliance challenges.

You will play a key role in supporting the business across funds management, credit/lending, or banking operations, ensuring robust compliance frameworks are maintained while enabling commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert compliance advice across business units, with a focus on funds management, credit/lending, or banking activities
Interpret and apply relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
Assess complex compliance issues and provide clear, practical recommendations
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks
Conduct risk assessments and contribute to remediation activities where required
Work closely with senior stakeholders to balance regulatory obligations with commercial objectives
Monitor regulatory change and assess business impact
Prepare compliance reports for senior leadership and governance committees

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Significant experience in compliance within funds management, credit/lending, or banking
Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulatory frameworks
Proven ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
Excellent critical thinking and sound commercial judgement
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to compliance challenges
Strong written and verbal communication skills
