T1 Constructions Pty Ltd is a construction and property development company based in Mount Druitt NSW. Due to the continued development of our construction and property projects, we are seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Analyst to support our directors, project teams and key stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the Directors, the Compliance and Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing and monitoring operational, financial, compliance and project-related risks across the business.
The successful candidate will analyse complex business and project information, develop and maintain internal control procedures, monitor project performance, and prepare reports, dashboards and recommendations to support management decision-making and improve operational and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain internal control and risk-management procedures across the business.
Identify, assess and monitor operational, financial, compliance and project-related risks.
Develop and maintain databases to track project progress, performance, risks and opportunities while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Review and analyse financial reports, audit reports, quantity surveying reports and project information to identify risks, trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, presentations and data visualisations for directors, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators and recommend corrective actions, process improvements and risk-mitigation strategies where required.
Collaborate with finance, construction, project and management teams to develop data-driven strategies that improve project delivery and cost efficiency.
Assist with the development and implementation of business procedures, compliance controls and operational-risk frameworks.
Use business and project-management systems, including NetSuite, Procore and Tableau, for reporting, analysis and project monitoring.
Monitor relevant industry developments, compliance requirements and risk-management best practices.
Skills and Experience
Master or higher level academic qualification in commerce, business, finance, data analytics, information systems or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
At least five years of relevant professional experience in compliance, risk analysis, business analysis, project reporting or a related position.
Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese language will be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience working in the construction, property development or another project-based business environment.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial, audit, operational and project information.
Experience in preparing management reports, dashboards, presentations and data visualizations.
Sound knowledge of internal controls, risk-management processes, compliance monitoring and business-performance analysis.
Experience using business and project systems such as NetSuite, Procore and Tableau.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with directors, project teams and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
