Reporting directly to a supportive CFO, this is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance high-level strategic oversight with technical precision. You will take true ownership of the integrity of our financial reporting and manage our day-to-day accounting operations. Ready to step up in your career? Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Oversee and elevate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a growing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Cash Flow & Strategy: Monitor and project cash flow to support rapid scaling; assist the CFO with financial modeling for potential mergers, acquisitions, or new service launches.Systems & Process Improvement: Act as the functional lead for ERP upgrades, automations, and workflow efficiencies.Compliance & Audit: Manage all statutory requirements, income tax compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks to mitigate risk in a regulated care environment. About You You are a proactive, resilient finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and views scaling challenges as puzzles to be solved rather than hurdles. Ideally, You Will Bring Qualifications: CA or CPA qualification is essential.Experience: Proven track record as a Financial Controller, or a highly accomplished Senior Finance Manager/Finance Manager ready for a promotion.Sector Knowledge: Experience within Aged Care, Disability (NDIS), or the broader Healthcare sector is highly desirable (to navigate complex funding models).The "Strategic Translator" Skill: A knack for turning complex financial data into a clear narrative that non-financial operational managers can easily understand and act upon.Tech-Savviness: Advanced proficiency in modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, Sage) and a high level of Excel proficiency.Leadership Style: A "hands-on" mentor who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to fix a reconciliation while simultaneously coaching your team.
