People Business Partner

People Partner – Don’t Just Support the Business. Shape It.

If you’re a People Partner who wants to be in the thick of operations, influencing leaders and driving real outcomes, this role will speak to you.

At Team Global Express (TGE), this isn’t a behind-the-scenes HR role. You’ll be on the ground with leaders, helping them navigate change, performance, and complex workforce challenges across a large blue-collar, operational environment.

You’ll play a key role in how the business responds to change, lifts capability, and builds high-performing teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role sits at the centre of real operational HR:

• Leading change management activity, including restructures and system implementations  

• Supporting workforce transitions, including redundancy, redeployment, and organisational redesign

• Partnering with leaders in a blue-collar, operational workforce environment

• Managing ER/IR matters end-to-end, including performance, conduct, conflict, bullying, and harassment cases

• Working within enterprise agreements, modern awards, and unionised environments

• Coaching leaders through difficult conversations and performance management

• Supporting workforce planning and succession planning to build future capability

• Acting as a trusted advisor who helps leaders make fair, consistent, and commercially sound decisions

You’ll work closely with the wider People team in a collaborative, supportive environment while still owning your space with leaders.

Who You Are

• You’ve worked in a hands-on HR/People Partner role, ideally in operational or complex environments

• You have exposure to blue-collar or frontline workforces

• You are confident working with enterprise agreements, Awards, and/or unionised environments

• You’re comfortable handling ER/IR matters independently

• You’re experienced in change, restructures, and supporting leaders through uncertainty

• You don’t avoid tough conversations — you lead them

• You’re curious, practical, and looking to step up and grow in scope and impact
