The Account Manager plays a key role in supporting MetLife Australia’s Client Partnerships team, managing a portfolio of Superannuation Fund clients and contributing to the achievement of retention and sales objectives. Guided by our purpose — always with you, building a more confident future — and our New Frontier strategy, this role focuses on delivering strong client outcomes, strengthening partnerships and supporting strategic growth. Working closely with Senior Client Relationship Managers and cross‑functional teams, you will drive the execution of holistic account plans, support business transformation initiatives and ensure seamless delivery of client servicing and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Support and execute account plans, partnering with Senior Client Relationship Managers to deliver retention, growth and strategic objectives across nominated superannuation fund clients.Coordinate client servicing and delivery, managing day‑to‑day client interactions, queries, reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure high‑quality outcomes.Partner across the business, engaging underwriting, claims, product, pricing, operations, digital and finance teams to deliver on client strategies and transformation initiatives.Drive transformation and continuous improvement, supporting digital, data and business transformation initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and client experience.Maintain reporting and governance, including Salesforce updates, campaign support, project coordination and participation in client and operational forums. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in a client‑facing or account management role within financial services or insurance.Strong understanding of group insurance or superannuation products and client servicing environments.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).Comfort using AI‑enabled and digital productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar) to support efficient work outcomes, with sound judgement and adherence to organisational policies, governance and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Superannuation Funds, brokers or group insurance clients.RG146 accreditation or relevant industry qualifications.Experience supporting digital, data or business transformation initiatives.Strong data analysis capability, with the ability to interpret trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
