About the opportunity

Lead, support, and deliver exceptional service centre operations as a Service Centre Team Leader with NSW Health Pathology. The Team Leader oversees a small team of administrative officers responsible for delivering results via telephone to patients and health professionals, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication.

What you'll be doing

The Service Centre Team Leader is responsible for undertaking supervisory and higher-level administrative tasks for a small group of administrative staff in the Post-Analytical space. Working closely with the Client Relationship Consultant, the role is also responsible for ensuring that complaints and other requests are managed appropriately and to suggest and helping implement projects that lead to continuous improvement

Proven computer literacy and strong keyboard skills with speed and accuracy, including use of digital transcription equipment.
Proven experience working in a high workload and pressure area with successful track records to provide best performance as well as knowledge of clinical and corporate applications and work practices, and their relationship to other health care processes.
Demonstrated ability and initiative to work both as part of a team and independently, supporting your team members and management, with sound knowledge of administrative procedures in health setting.
Demonstrated strong customer focus and commitment to providing exceptional services to all clients (internal and external to the organistion).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and verbal English and be capable of professionally liaising and working with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation using different modes of communication in a technical and business context.
