Skyco Trades is a locally owned and operated electrical and air conditioning company servicing homeowners throughout the Sutherland Shire and St George areas.We specialise in switchboard upgrades, LED lighting, ceiling fans, EV chargers, no power issues, air con installations and air con maintenance.

Since 2015, we've built our reputation on exceptional customer service, quality workmanship and clear communication.As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, energetic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team.


About the Role

As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience from the very first phone call.

You'll be responsible for handling incoming enquiries, outbound phone calls, supporting our technicians in the field and ensuring every customer receives outstanding service throughout their journey with us.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that combines customer service, sales support and administration. You'll work closely with our office team and technicians to help keep the business running smoothly while contributing to our continued growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner

  • Making outbound calls and creating new jobs

  • Booking and scheduling jobs in our job management system

  • Follow up quotes and assist customers with booking approved work

  • Communicate with customers regarding arrival times, job updates and follow-up requirements

  • Maintain accurate customer records and job notes within our systems

  • Assist with payment collection when required

  • Support service reminder campaigns and customer follow-up activities

  • Work towards individual and team performance targets

  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team

What we’re looking for

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and thrives in a busy environment.

  • Previous experience in a customer service, scheduling, administration or call centre role

  • Experience working within a trades business (electrical, air con, plumbing highly regarded)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A confident and professional phone manner

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail

  • The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

  • Confidence using computers and learning new software systems

  • A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

  • Full Australian working rights

What we offer

  • $70,000-$80,000 base salary

  • Bonus structure on top for hitting KPI’s

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
