General practitioner

Overview We seek an experienced General Practitioner to join a dynamic primary care team across Australia.

This role suits a clinically confident GP with 15+ years of experience who is committed to high-quality, patient-centred care. Candidates from the United Arab Emirates with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive clinical background are encouraged to apply; Australian registration and residency are not required for initial consideration. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general practice consultations for patients of all ages, addressing acute and chronic conditions.

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret investigations, and develop evidence-based management plans. Formulate and oversee medication plans, referrals to specialists, and preventive health strategies including immunisation and screening. Deliver culturally sensitive care and maintain clear communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and maintain accurate medical records in line with regulations. Essential Qualifications & Experience Clinical Experience: Minimum 15 years working as a General Practitioner or equivalent in primary care or family medicine.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or equivalent qualification. Registration: Not currently registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency required for consideration; candidate must be eligible to apply for Australian registration when needed. Visa/Residency: Candidates who require a visa to work in Australia may apply and will need to secure appropriate immigration status prior to commencing employment.

Desirable Attributes Excellent clinical decision-making and procedural competence relevant to general practice. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to communicate with diverse patient populations. Experience with electronic medical records and familiarity with Australian clinical standards is an advantage.
