Andrews Meat Industries Is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked), and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments Including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues. 

Andrews Meat is seeking a highly organised and professional individual to join our team as a Quality Assuarance Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Work hours: 04:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday to Friday - Permanent full time position

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Conduct pre-operational and operational hygiene checks (equipment, defects, microbial testing, pest control)
  • Conduct area monitoring (temperature, process) within the factory.
  • Preparing samples for the external laboratory as required.
  • Complete and review relevant QA forms and reports, and other QA administration duties.
  • Conduct Sensory Evaluation of products.
  • Aid in the investigation of customer complaints.
  • Communicate to QA Manager all quality incidents and hazards.
  • Participate in Internal and External Audits, if required.
  • Undertake other related activities as required.
