Following a significant growth period and the appointment of five Design Managers, Landmark is continuing to expand its design capability and is seeking experienced Design Managers to join both our Development and Construction teams.

These opportunities offer the chance to work within an integrated developer-builder environment and contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale residential projects across Sydney. We are seeking professionals with experience either in front-end design management and planning approvals or construction-phase design coordination and delivery.

About the role

Following a significant growth period and the appointment of several Design Managers, Landmark is continuing to expand its design capability and is seeking experienced Design Managers to join both our Development and Construction teams.

These opportunities offer the chance to work across a diverse pipeline of large-scale residential developments and play a key role in shaping projects from early feasibility through to construction delivery.

Reporting into the Development Team, this role focuses on leading the front-end design process across feasibility, concept design, Development Applications, planning approvals, and consultant coordination.

Reporting into the Construction Team, this role focuses on managing design delivery from post-approval through to project completion, ensuring design outcomes are coordinated, compliant, buildable, and successfully delivered on site.

About You

To be successful, you will bring strong technical knowledge, practical construction understanding, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary consultant teams through complex design, approval, and delivery processes.

You will have:

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
10+ years' experience within the construction and property industry.
7+ years' experience in Design Management, Project Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related roles.
Strong stakeholder management and consultant coordination skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance design, programme, cost, and project outcomes.
Experience delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use, or Class 2 developments.

For Development Design Manager applicants, experience with feasibility studies, Development Applications, planning pathways, NSW Planning Portal submissions, LEPs, DCPs, and council engagement will be highly regarded.

For Construction Design Manager applicants, experience managing design delivery during construction, consultant coordination, buildability reviews, DBP compliance, value engineering, and design management within a builder or developer-builder environment will be highly regarded.
