Design & Architecture
Posted 11/06/2026
Closes 25/06/2026
Mona Vale, 2103, Sydney, New South Wales
Full time
We're not in a rush. We're looking for one good landscaper to join our small crew, and we'd rather wait for the right person than fill a spot with the wrong one.
If you're chasing a quick start and a paycheck, this isn't your job. If you take pride in the work, show up when you say you will, and want to build proper gardens that clients actually enjoy for years, keep reading.
About us
I'm Lachie. I run Mother Nature's Landscapes out of Mona Vale. We've been doing this for 30 years. We do high-end residential design and construction across the Northern Beaches and North Shore. Most of our jobs sit between $50,000 and $200,000+. We're not a maintenance mob. The work is real construction, finished properly.
What you'd be doing
Pool surrounds and decking
Paving and stonework
Retaining walls and structural work
Planting and softscaping
On site with the crew, building jobs from setout to handover.
Who I'm after
Cert III in Landscape Construction, or genuine experience that adds up to the same thing
3 to 5 years in the trade
Drivers licence and your own car to get to site
Cares about finish quality more than speed
Reliable. If you say you'll be there at 7, you're there at 7
Wants to grow with the business, not just rent themselves out
What you get
$80,000 to $90,000 base, depending on experience
12% super on top
Paid leave and public holidays
All tools and PPE provided
Clear path to 2IC inside 12 to 18 months
A crew that gets along, looks out for each other, and actually cares about the job
How to apply
Don't send me just a resume. Send me:
A short note, a few sentences is fine, on why this role and not the one next to it
Two references from your last two employers, with phone numbers, that you're happy for me to actually call
I read every application personally. If you're a fit, I'll give you a call for a chat. Next step is a site visit to meet the boys, then a paid trial day on a real job before we make anything official.
Cheers, Lachie 🌱
