As part of this continued growth, Thrive Greystanes has been established as a purpose-built early learning centre in a convenient location near the M4. The centre operates Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and provides onsite and street parking for families and staff. Thrive Greystanes caters for up to 40 children aged from weeks to 5 years. The centre includes three spacious learning rooms and well-designed outdoor areas, providing children with a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that supports imagination, exploration, and holistic development.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for performing a comprehensive range of duties relating to the care, education, supervision, and overall wellbeing of children within the centre. In this role, you will be expected to ensure that all children receive high-quality care and meaningful developmental opportunities in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and the centre’s established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Quality practises: Demonstrate high-quality practices aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

  • Team Support: Support fellow educators in the room to enhance collaborative efforts.

  • Positive Team Dynamics: Foster positive working relationships within the team.

  • Parent Communication: Communicate effectively with parents to keep them informed and engaged.

  • Educational Contributions: Contribute to the educational program through observations and documentation using Kinderm8 and informal opportunities.

  • Experience Requirements: A minimum of 6 months experience in early childhood education is required.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • Must hold an ACECQA nationally approved Certificate III level, or higher, qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, in accordance with the

  • Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the Children’s Services Award 2010.

  • At least one year of relevant experience in early childhood education and care.
