At OSAN Ability (Hornsby Branch), we are dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care to older adults within our community under the Support at Home (SAH) framework. We are currently seeking passionate, reliable, and empathetic Home Care Support Workers to join our local Hornsby team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide everyday personal care (showering, dressing, and grooming with dignity).
Assist with light domestic duties (cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation).
Provide meaningful social support, companionship, and community access around the Hornsby region.
Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments and shopping.
Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes to the care coordinator.
Requirements
Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Ageing Support, or equivalent relevant qualification/experience.
Certificates: Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Screening: Valid National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Transport: Current Australian Driver’s License with access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
Work Authorization: Must hold a valid visa with unrestricted and ongoing working rights in Australia.
Language Skills: Strong English communication skills. Additional fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese is highly regarded to support our diverse client base.
