Make a Real Difference – Join Our Mental Health Support Team in Wollongong!
Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their mental health journey? We’re looking for compassionate and experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Wollongong, NSW.
 
Your Role:

• Provide person-centred care and daily living support to individuals with mental health diagnoses.
• Encourage independence and implement tailored support plans.
• Create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.
• Work collaboratively to manage complex behaviours and emotional needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English.
• Hands-on experience supporting individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, paranoia, or complex behaviours (highly desirable).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Police check, 
• NDIS Orientation Modules completion.
• Infection control certificate
• Mental Health First Aid and Certificate in Mental Health (desirable).
• Must be available for sleepover shifts (non-negotiable)
• Fluent in English
• Well-versed in writing & documentation shift notes/incident reports
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team
• String boundaries
• Genuine passion for Support Work
