Homecare Support Worker (part-time)

Buckland Aged Care Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Permanent Part-Time Support Worker to join our dedicated Home Care team. This role supports clients living in Buckland’s Retirement Village and the Lower Blue Mountains community, helping them maintain independence in their own homes.

Position Details:

• Contracted to 8 hours per week

• Required for Fridays with the potential for additional weekday shifts (preferably Monday and Wednesday)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and social support to clients

• Assisting with activities of daily living

• Supporting clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing

• Delivering care that is respectful, client-focused and promotes dignity and choice

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent

• Experience in aged care, home care, or community care

• Comfortable providing personal care services

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Genuine passion for supporting older people
