About the Role

Join 3Bridges as a Home Care Worker within our Community Care team. In this rewarding role, you will support the elderly to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

You will provide practical assistance, personal care, social support, and companionship to clients, helping them maintain their wellbeing, independence, and quality of life. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of older Australians.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and social support to clients in their homes.

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, and attending appointments.

• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.

• Monitor client wellbeing and report any changes or concerns.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with Care Partners and the broader care team.

• Deliver services in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification (Essential).

• Minimum 1 year's experience supporting older people or vulnerable members of the community.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of person-centred care and the needs of older people.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain.

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Current NSW Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (required).

• Second Language (Greek and Arabic desirable)

• Current and unrestricted Australian working rights are required for this position. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available.

To be appointed to this role, the successful candidate will require a Current First Aid Certificate, National Police Check (completed by 3Bridges), and relevant qualifications in Individual Support, Ageing Support, or a related field.
