Our Natural Areas team delivers programs and initiatives that support biodiversity conservation, environmental sustainability and community education across the Campbelltown Local Government Area.
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and community-focused Environmental Engagement Officer to join our passionate Natural Areas team.
This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation, implementation and review of environmental education programs, projects, events and community engagement initiatives that support biodiversity conservation and environmental awareness across the Campbelltown Local Government Area.
The role will work closely with schools, community groups, private landholders, environmental stakeholders and Council teams to deliver innovative programs, workshops, events and citizen science initiatives that encourage positive environmental outcomes and strengthen community participation.
