Maintenance Assistant/Handyman

General maintenance and repairs across residential and common areas

Basic carpentry and handyman duties

Outdoor grounds maintenance

Moving furniture, equipment and supplies as required

Responding to listed maintenance requests from residents or directions by staff

Performing routine safety checks and preventative maintenance

Keeping all areas safe, functional and well presented

Assist with resident functions setup etc. 

Physically fit, energetic and capable of regular lifting, bending, climbing and manual work

Enjoys active, hands-on work in both indoor and outdoor environments

Practical and resourceful with good general maintenance skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team 

Respectful, patient and friendly when dealing with older residents

Previous experience in maintenance, trades, or handyman work is an advantage

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to understand, interpret and communicate information accurately.

Current driver’s licence preferred
