Consulting Earth Scientists Pty Ltd (CES) is a specialist consultancy operating at the intersection of contaminated land, geotechnical engineering and landfill engineering. We work on technically complex sites where standard approaches do not apply and where sound environmental and engineering judgement is critical.
Based in Sydney, CES delivers contaminated land assessment, remediation, environmental monitoring and landfill-related engineering services across a wide range of projects.
We are seeking an Environmental Scientist / Environmental Engineer to join our team and contribute to a diverse range of projects, while developing strong technical and site-based experience.
About the role
• Work on contaminated land, industrial facility and landfills and environmental monitoring projects
• Undertake field investigations, site monitoring and supervision.
• Contribute to environmental assessments and remediation projects.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Work closely with experienced scientists and engineers.
• Develop both technical and practical skills.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an early to mid-career environmental professional looking to build your experience in a specialist consultancy environment.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (Environmental Science, Engineering or similar).
• > 3 years’ experience in contaminated land and environmental consulting.
• Experience with site investigations, environmental monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent spoken English, report writing and written communication skills.
• A proactive and motivated approach to learning.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
