An exciting opportunity to join Chemist Connect team as a full time Pharmacy Technician at Chemist Connect in Prospect NSW.

Key responsibilities

Dispense medications with legal and professional requirements, under the direction of a Pharmacist
Assist the Pharmacist prepare medication to facilitate medication management and in their routine work
Maintain dispensary stock levels and inventory
Referring prescriptions to Pharmacists and assisting in preparing medications
Filling and labelling patients’ prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
Promotes the best patient health outcomes to improved compliance and understanding of their medications and health condition
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures and medication safety standards

To be successful in the role, you must possess:
Recognised qualifications in the field or qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent (as per award) will enable appointment as Pharmacy Technician

Demonstrated understanding and experience of dispensing/issuing of pharmaceuticals in a hospital or community pharmacy setting or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment and possess good organisational and time management skills.
Experience with information technology and familiarity with the use of pharmacy software.
Demonstrated ability to integrate well with the other staff working as part of the team.
Demonstrated good attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
