You are an experienced Clinical Psychologist who is confident in delivering specialist assessments, diagnosis and evidence based interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs. You value collaboration and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to strengthen clinical decision making and enhance care planning. You are committed to high quality, recovery oriented practice and bring the capability to evaluate clinical outcomes, support service improvements and provide education and training. You also have the skills and experience required to supervise Psychologists and other clinicians across the Local Health District, supporting the ongoing development of a skilled and confident workforce.
Selection Criteria

Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia & completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
Describe a time when you provided a complex clinical intervention that involved both assessment and treatment. How did you ensure the intervention was evidence-based, and how did you collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and the client’s support network throughout the process?
Clinical Psychologists in this role are expected to contribute to service improvement and provide supervision to others. Can you share an example of a quality improvement initiative or clinical research project you’ve led or contributed to, and how you supported the development of other staff or students during that time
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
