We're now seeking a Team Leader - Social Wellness Centre & Respite to join our team in Winmalee.

Your Opportunity

Full time | 6‑month maximum term - potential to extend | Winmalee

As a Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team delivering social support programs and overnight respite services.

You'll oversee a team of 6-7 staff, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care while maintaining strong day‑to‑day operations and a positive team culture.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, support and develop a team of 6-7 staff

  • Coordinate daily service delivery, including activities, rostering and client transport

  • Plan and deliver engaging, meaningful programs tailored to client needs

  • Ensure compliance with care standards, documentation and safety requirements

  • Manage budgets, reporting and service performance

  • Build strong relationships with clients, families and community stakeholders

  • Promote services within the local community

  • Participate in an on‑call roster (Thursday to Sunday) to support staff with client‑related advice and escalation (if needed).

What You'll Bring

You're a confident, hands‑on leader who enjoys supporting teams and delivering meaningful outcomes for older people.

You'll bring:

  • Strong staff management and team leadership experience

  • Diploma in Leisure & Health, Community Services, Aged Care or similar

  • Experience in aged care, home care or community services

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia

  • Ability to manage operations, compliance and competing priorities

  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle

  • Confidence using systems and Microsoft Office
