DENTAL/SURGICAL NURSE

Excellent opportunity available at Macarthur Surgical Centre for an experienced dental/surgical nurse. 

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting specialists with various oral surgery procedures under local anaesthetic and I.V Sedation including implant placement.

* Surgical set-up, sterilising, post-op care, generation of theatre lists, ordering of surgical supplies. All clinical duties. 

* Some admin duties required.  

The suitable applicant will possess:

* Certificate III in Dental Assisting essential.  (Certificate IV including dental radiography preferred)

*  Excellent communication skills and have a friendly, compassionate and caring nature with the ability to provide a high standard of patient care. 

* A strong work ethic with time management and organisational skills.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a friendly team.

*Be motivated, flexible and reliable.

This is a full-time position 4 days per week.  (No weekends)

Wage is based on experience.
