Looking to get your foot in the door of a professional kitchen? We’re on the hunt for a reliable and motivated Kitchenhand to join our fast-paced back-of-house team at North Ryde RSL.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and wants to grow their skills in a supportive, well-structured kitchen. Whether you’re building on your experience or looking to take the next step, we’ll give you the tools and environment to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all utensils, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned and organised

• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, including dishwashing equipment and kitchen areas

• Supporting our chefs with basic food preparation tasks

• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Assisting with waste management and keeping back-of-house areas tidy and compliant

• Always ensuring that food is handled in accordance with Club procedures and food hygiene regulations.

• Ensure all garbage is taken to the cellar and placed in the appropriate place in accordance with our Club procedure.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a commercial kitchen (essential)

• A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude

• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment

• Great teamwork and communication skills

• High attention to detail and pride in your work

• Well-presented with a professional approach

• Willingness to learn and grow within the team

• Maintain up to date knowledge of NRRSL's activities, products, services, and equipment
