Advin Investments Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team in NSW. The role involves preparing and cooking food, maintaining food quality standards, and assisting with kitchen operations in accordance with relevant food safety requirements. Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking food in accordance with recipes and menu requirements. Seasoning food during cooking and ensuring meals are prepared to the required quality standards. Portioning and plating food for service.

Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities and maintaining stock rotation procedures. Assisting with planning menus and estimating food and labour costs. Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.

Ensuring kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with hygiene standards. Complying with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations. Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.

Skills and Experience Relevant qualification such as Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Cook (preferred).

Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
