We're currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated kitchen team.

Job Summary: As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our kitchen operations. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, assisting chefs with basic food preparation, and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are cleaned and properly stored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times

  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand

  • Assist with basic food preparation under the supervision of chefs (e.g., peeling, chopping)

  • Ensure kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly

  • Remove waste and recycling in a safe and timely manner

  • Replenish kitchen supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and cleaning products

  • Comply with health and safety regulations and follow proper food handling procedures

  • Support the wider kitchen team in day-to-day tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is an advantage but not essential

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn and take direction

  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
