This role supports recruitment for retail stores across a multi-site network. The Internal Recruitment Coordinator partners closely with store and head office managers to deliver efficient, candidate-friendly hiring and ensure the right people land in the right roles. The role also requires a working understanding of relevant employment legislation, particularly around fair and compliant hiring practices.

About the Role

Reporting into the People & Culture function, you'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for retail store positions – from advertising and screening through to offer and onboarding. You'll work closely with store and area managers to understand resourcing needs and keep the pipeline moving quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail store roles, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Partner with store and area managers to understand hiring needs and priorities across multiple locations
  • Coordinate and execute high-volume / bulk recruitment campaigns in line with business growth plans
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews, shortlisting candidates for hiring managers
  • Prepare employment contracts and manage new-starter documentation and compliance checks
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new starters are set up and ready to work from day one
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, trackers, and reporting
  • Provide general recruitment administration support to the wider People & Culture team
About You
  • 2+ yrs experience in a recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination role is essential
  • Retail industry experience is mandatory – candidates without a retail background will not be considered
  • Familiarity with retail or fast-paced, multi-site hiring environments
  • Working knowledge of retail-related Modern Awards and basic employment compliance (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities at once
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with managers at all levels
  • Available to start immediately and commit to a temporary assignment
