&nbsp;About the RoleAs a Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical expert for our products and services while building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers. You’ll collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction from initial consultation through to project delivery.This role includes national and occasional international travel for client meetings, installations, and industry events.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.</li><li>Understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.</li><li>Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and technical documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, service, and operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.</li><li>Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and training to clients.</li><li>Assist with installations and oversee project implementations.</li><li>Meet or exceed targets and KPIs.</li><li>Negotiating contracts and pricing with customers</li><li>Analysing client operational requirements and recommending appropriate industrial machinery and automation solutions.</li><li>maintaining detailed customer records and sales forecasts;</li><li>coordinating product delivery, commissioning and after-sales support;</li><li>preparing sales reports and market analyses; and</li><li>providing ongoing technical advice on the operation and performance of packaging and warehouse automation equipment.</li></ul>Skills and Experience<ul><li>Proven 3-5 year experience in a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales role.</li><li>Strong technical understanding of automation, packaging, and warehouse solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.</li><li>Self-motivated and results-driven.</li><li>Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Business.</li><li>Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives.</li><li>Company lease car.</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development.</li><li>A supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.</li><li>The chance to work with innovative solutions and industry-leading products.</li></ul>
