If you've got comms cabling skills or want to build them, you'll get plenty of it here. <h3>Benefits</h3>$47.73/hr EBA base + $5.00/hr productivity + $40/day travel (worth ~$5/hr) - full EBA rates and conditionsConsistent overtime at penalty rates as per or EAPermanent role with genuine job security — strong pipeline of booked workVariety of work: award-winning CBD fitouts, structured cabling and comms room builds, secure sites - sharpen your skills, not just pull cableSupportive team with long-term career advancement - many of our team started on the tools and moved up <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>Install electrical &amp; communications cabling systems, components and equipment to high-end specifications and relevant codesRough-in and fit-off across CBD commercial fitout projects — general and dedicated power, feature and architectural lighting, automated lighting control and clients' critical infrastructureStructured cabling installs — copper and fibre, containment and cable support systems, termination, testing and vendor certificationComms room builds (MCR/FCR) — including the critical power supply, UPS systems &amp; switchboards, racking, stacking, patching and associated IT equipment &amp;infrastructureFault-finding, testing and commissioning using appropriate test instrumentsRead and interpret electrical, architectural and services drawings — and coordinate with other trades on live sitesMentor and supervise apprentices coming up behind you, in line with company supervision policyDeliver quality workmanship safely, to program, and to the standard a high-end finish demands <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>Current NSW Electrical licenceCompleted electrical qualificationCurrent Australian driver's licence - well regardedConstruction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)Experience in communications/structured cabling or Cert III Telecommunications well regarded (not essential)
