As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new business, expand our network, and secure ongoing project work.

The Opportunity

This is not just a sales role — it’s a growth role.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and bringing in consistent project work. We are looking for someone who is proactive, well-connected, and knows how to open doors in the electrical and construction space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities across commercial and industrial electrical projects

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, contractors, and key decision-makers

  • Grow existing accounts while actively securing new clients

  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities

  • Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and capability statements

  • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets

  • Represent the business at meetings, site visits, and industry events

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

About You

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in business development within the electrical or construction industry

  • Strong existing network within the Sydney construction/electrical market

  • Proven track record of winning work and achieving sales targets

  • Confident in both relationship-building and cold outreach

  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and commercially minded

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
