As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new business, expand our network, and secure ongoing project work.
The Opportunity
This is not just a sales role — it’s a growth role.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and bringing in consistent project work. We are looking for someone who is proactive, well-connected, and knows how to open doors in the electrical and construction space.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business opportunities across commercial and industrial electrical projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, contractors, and key decision-makers
Grow existing accounts while actively securing new clients
Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and capability statements
Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
Represent the business at meetings, site visits, and industry events
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
Minimum 10+ years’ experience in business development within the electrical or construction industry
Strong existing network within the Sydney construction/electrical market
Proven track record of winning work and achieving sales targets
Confident in both relationship-building and cold outreach
Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and commercially minded
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
