Marketing Advisor. Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570. Work Type: Permanent Full Time. Location: Oran Park, New South Wales. Salary: $91,272 - 104,567 p.a. + Super.

About This Role

Camden Council currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Marketing Officer in our Marketing, Engagement and Events Branch. As one of the fastest growing Councils in Australia, you will be responsible for the facilitation, promotion and support of marketing across Council functions, through the creation of promotional materials, marketing plans and initiatives showcasing Camden. Reporting to the Team Leader Marketing, Digital and Design, you will raise awareness and engage the community through the delivery of innovative online, digital, print and multi-media communications and marketing collateral to market the Camden area and Council initiatives. Essential
  • Possession of relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in a relevant role, particularly in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans.
  • Experience in strengthening and elevating brand identity through various marketing platforms including digital and social media channels.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including experience in producing written communication, networking, liaising, consulting and negotiating with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high functioning and diverse team.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including out of work hours, nights and weekends as required.
Desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Content Management Systems
  • Technical knowledge of video editing software and publishing systems
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or other desktop publishing or design programs
  • Local government experience
