About The Role
As the Business Development Manager within our Service division, you will play a key role in driving sustainable growth and developing long-term client partnerships across a diverse range of industries including commercial, healthcare, education, retail, industrial, and government sectors.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and supporting the conversion of warranty customers into ongoing service partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and securing new HVAC service and maintenance opportunities
Developing and managing strong client and stakeholder relationships
Preparing proposals, tenders, presentations, and service agreements
Growing preventative maintenance, reactive service, minor works, and lifecycle upgrade opportunities
Conducting customer reviews and supporting long-term contract retention
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
Supporting pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial outcomes
Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasting, and pipeline reporting
About You
You are a motivated and relationship-driven professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building long-term partnerships, and can identify opportunities that drive business growth.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within the construction, HVAC, or mechanical services industry
Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing tenders and proposals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
Collaborative team player who values professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Understanding of HVAC systems and service delivery environments is highly regarded
