Established gourmet food company based in St Peters is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member for warehouse and food production duties.

This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and can work independently once trained.

Duties include:

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Weighing, preparing and packing gourmet food products

• Labelling containers, pouches and bottles accurately

• Preparing products for dispatch and carton packing

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse

• Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties

• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have excellent attention to detail

• Be reliable and punctual

• Be able to follow procedures accurately

• Take responsibility for the quality of your work

• Be physically capable of standing and performing repetitive tasks

• Be willing to learn and work independently once trained

• Applicants must have sufficient English language skills to understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace.

*This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be responsible for preparing, weighing, labelling and packing a wide range of gourmet food products. Accuracy is essential, as product weights, labels and packaging must be completed correctly before dispatch.*

**Casual rate: $32.31 per hour during training and probation period. Higher rates available for employees who demonstrate reliability, accuracy, independence and a willingness to take on additional responsibility.**

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
